Abhishek Bachchan passed his view against filmmaker Karan Johar. In Karan’s ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, he plays a goody husband of Maya, played by Rani Mukherji and in the film Maya and Abhishek share a good rapport still their relationship breaks up, which surprises Abhishek.

“I felt Karan should have given my character, Rishi, something negative to do. He loves his wife immensely. He’s basically trying to be the perfect husband. And that’s how the audience has perceived my character. Despite that, Maya moves away. So I felt Karan needed to give my character some dark areas,” opined Abhishek.

According to Jr. B, Shah Rukh’s character has reason to stray because his wife has no time for him. “My character’s wife has no such reason. Why does Rishi and Maya’s relationship goes through bad weather?” he questioned.
“I kept asking it Karan throughout the shooting,” said Abhishek.

What does Karan say about this? “One could be in a seemingly perfect marriage. Still his spouse may not connect with him. It’s a very intriguing thought.” However Abhishek cannot endorse Karan’s view as right one.
